Meet the team
Kaitlyn Seikunas, MA, LPCC
Hi there — I’m so glad you’re here.
I’m Kaitlyn, owner and therapist at Alpenglow Counseling.
Who I work with:
I work with preteens, teens, and adults navigating anxiety, depression, OCD, gender and sexual identity exploration, and everyday life stressors. I also work with couples from an attachment-based, emotionally focused perspective, helping partners better understand their needs, emotions, and the patterns that show up in their relationship.
What inspired me:
Before becoming a therapist, I spent 15 years as a hairstylist. Those years, along with my own life experiences, sparked a desire to connect with people on a deeper level.
My niches:
• Therapy for teens and college students
• Coping skills for anxiety and depression
• Helping clients identify anxious attachment patterns and build more secure relationships
• Therapy for hairstylists
My approach:
At the core of my work is a deep respect for individuality and multiculturalism. I view each person within the context of their relationships, environment, and lived experiences. Using a holistic lens, we’ll explore the layers that shape your story and work toward growth in a way that feels authentic to you.
My goal is to create a space where you feel safe, supported, and understood while helping you build tools you can use in your everyday life. I integrate narrative therapy, mindfulness, CBT, and attachment-based approaches to support you in making sense of your experiences, developing practical coping skills, and building more secure, balanced relationships.
Education:
I hold a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology (2024) and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from University of Colorado Boulder (2021).
If this resonates with you, I’d love to connect.
Natasha Lubansky, MA, LSW
Hi, i’m Natasha,
Who I Work With:
I work with adolescents and adults navigating anxiety, depression, ADHD, and autism, with a strong focus on executive functioning, daily structure, and building systems that actually work for your life.
What Inspired Me:
My path into this work has been shaped by my love for the outdoors. I truly believe that connecting with nature can be just as important as the work we do in therapy. I spent several years living out of my van, which taught me a lot about adaptability, simplicity, and staying grounded through change. I bring that same perspective into my work by helping clients find balance, flexibility, and a sense of connection in their everyday lives.
My Niches:
Trauma and severe mental illness
Neurodivergence (ASD, ADHD)
Executive functioning and life skills
Emotional regulation and stress management
My Approach:
I use a holistic, strengths-based approach grounded in evidence-based practices like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). I work collaboratively with clients to better understand patterns in thoughts, emotions, and behaviors, while also building practical, realistic tools for everyday life. This is especially important in my work with neurodivergent clients, where we focus on creating systems, routines, and strategies that support how your brain naturally works.
Education: I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and a Master’s degree in Social Work with a concentration in Clinical Mental Health.
If you feel like this could be a good fit, I’d love to connect.
